When it comes to burgers, we’ve got it down. Burgers is in our name and our nature, and we have fined-tuned our menu to perfection.

Our burgers are packed to the brim with flavour and are nothing less than satisfying. In fact, we think it’s only right to shine a spotlight on our best beef burgers (with a special mention to our premium Wagyu beef burger), our delicious southern fried chicken burger and the best veggie burger in town (if we do say so ourselves).

We’ve unpacked our menu to give you the ins and outs of what our burgers are about; what’s in them, how we get them tasting so damn good, and why you need to order yourself one. Pronto.

Wagyu Bacon + Cheddar

Our Bacon + Cheddar burger is the crème de la crème of all bacon and cheeses. It’s one of our most popular dishes on the menu, and once you take a bite it won’t be hard to see why.

To make our Bacon + Cheese burger so good we grill a 100% Angus beef patty and stack it with bacon, American cheese, fresh lettuce, juicy tomatoes and onions. We then add lashings of BBQ sauce and our signature Aunty Joan’s pink sauce – a cocktail of various herbs and spices (we can’t give away all our secrets, sorry) that was lovingly created by our Aunty Joan back in South Africa. Our pink sauce has become a trademark for us and is prevalent throughout our menu. Have you tried dipping your fries in it?

With all the goods stacked up, the burger is then bookended with our lightly-toasted milk bun – less sweet than a brioche bun and the perfect accompaniment to our ingredients.

 

Southern Chicken

Our southern fried chicken burger isn’t any old chicken burger. It’s got a kick.

To give it that Southern states flare, we marinate the crispy chicken breast in a house-made buttermilk brine flavoured with paprika, cayenne and other herbs and spices. We then garnish with leafy lettuce, onion, pickles and cheese. To finish, we add our delicious house-made Chipotle pink sauce, where we blend Chipotle peppers into our signature pink sauce for that Southern smokey kick.

 

The Aussie

Ah, the Aussie. We know how to get this one right.

In this burger, the classic Australian flavours blend harmoniously – beetroot, pineapple, bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles, topped with Swiss cheese to give it that nutty taste. Lastly, we drizzle BBQ & Aunty Joan’s pink sauce on top, and voilà! This burger tastes so good, we reckon you’ll inhale it all-in-one (take our word for it).

 

The Veggie Stack

Calling all veggies! If you weren’t already hungry, you will be when you see our Veggie Stack!

We’re hailing this colourful feast as the best veggie burger on the market. At the heart of this burger is a whole brown mushroom that has been grilled and then basted with our lemon and herb marinade. Stacked atop the mushroom is grilled halloumi and aioli for that taste explosion, and then for balance and freshness, we add crispy lettuce, succulent tomatoes and Spanish onions.

 

The Wagyu Big Cheese

Here at Ribs & Burgers, we cater for the burger enthusiasts out there (like us), and we have one-upped ourselves with the creation of our Wagyu Big Cheese burger. In our opinion, it really is the best Wagyu burger in Australia.

Our Wagyu beef burgers are the cream of the crop. Wagyu is the most premium beef there is because it is packed with flavour and melt-in-the-mouth tender. Better yet, our Wagyu burgers contain 100% pure Wagyu beef, and we’re proud of it.

In our kitchen, our premium Wagyu beef patty (200g) is layered with an aged Cheddar sourced from a farm in Somerset, UK, that has a firm and brittle taste and melts on the beef perfectly. We then add pickles, caramelised onions, BBQ & Aunty Joan’s pink sauce. What more could you want?
